Weather
When you think of Hawaii, you would think sunny, beautiful weather, clear water and sandy beaches. Think again. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has an... interesting climate. During the day it is hot, dry, and windy. But, the rainfall extreme. In some places they get 5-13 inches of rainfall per month! If you choose to hike up the volcanoes, make sure you bring a jacket. The temperatures drop below freezing near the top of the volcanoes during the day. At night at sea level however, the temperatures also drop below freezing. Then in the morning the sun is shining and you are sweating!
